Thought Process
This is another most important pillar of Teen Aahaar Mantra. It is the most exhaustive action and is carried out by our own will or we are compelled by our surroundings. It has a great impact on the brain and the functioning of the whole body
Thinking is must for survival but if it becomes uncontrolled and excessive especially with depressive thoughts, then it will kill us slowly and steadily by deviating some body process which can be seen in the form of some chronic disease. Thought process has a great impact on the hypothalamus which in turn affects the pituitary gland. Both hypothalamus and pituitary gland control the neuro-endocrine system and thus can impact whole body process and function.
In Teen Aahaar Mantra we have included meditation and a simple lifestyle to keep the
thoughts under control
Thoughts are like guests visiting our house, let’s try to understand the dos and don’ts
by taking this example.
a) Like a guest, who does not stay in our house for long, same way thoughts
should not linger for a long time
b) You cannot take the guests with you everywhere, similarly, thoughts, e.g., office tension, friend tension, etc. should not be carried home or vice versa. Someone’s anger should not be expressed to someone else, etc.
c) Too many guests will make your home and life havoc and so do too many thoughts in the brain create havoc in brain functioning
d) If you give too much importance to the guest for a longer time, your family members will be left out, similarly if we are involved in unwanted thoughts for a longer time, our daily tasks and commitments are left out.
e) If the guest stays for a longer time, chances are that they may conquer your house, so do unnecessary thoughts cause hindrance in your work and difficulty in concentration, etc
So always be careful not to brood a lot on anything. Try to stay in company or with
family members. Communication with neighbors and nearby people is more beneficial than spending time with friends on social media.
Along with many other qualities, patience is most important in life and when you follow
Teen Aahaar Mantra you try to regularize eating habits, exercise time, sleeping and waking time and thus develop good control on your daily routine which leads to the development of patience. This patience can be applied to your behavior, daily life and to control thoughts. More details are provided in the CONCEPT SECTION UNDER THOUGHT PROCESS HEADING.
